This Petite Sirah wine is a full flavored Rhone-style red with an intense inky color and deep hues of red. A vibrant wine with a fruit forward palate, it has good tension and a grace that reveals a clean floral nose of violet and cedar. On the palate, we find cacao and freshly ground black pepper with a nice clean finish.
Our estate fruit is dry-farmed and the vineyard is not tilled. Cover crops are used to improve the soil’s texture and richness. Every task is done by hand with minimal intervention of machinery. There is no use of insecticides or pesticides in the vineyard.
At the winery, we respect the integrity of the wine by using a low intervention approach. Sulfite is never used. We age the wine in neutral barrels to let the fruit from each year tell its story and the story of that year in the vineyard.
